The variety is a winter form of triticale (6x). In scientific research, it has become known for the study of forage quality, as well as for the genetic mapping of leaf rust resistance loci, where it was used as one of the parental forms.

The grain quality of the variety was evaluated in comparative trials to determine its suitability for industrial processing, including bioethanol production. The variety is also used as a reference sample when studying developmental rhythms and morphological traits of other triticale varieties.
