Variety description

The variety belongs to the mid-ripening group and is intended for grain production. Its distinguishing feature is a balanced amino acid composition of protein, increased carotenoid content, and high gluten content corresponding to the first quality class.

In scientific literature, the variety is used as a standard for a number of morphological traits in the spring triticale collection. Khlibodar kharkivs'kyi is also used as source material for the development of new winter triticale varieties.
