The variety is a very early winter plant with a height of 100–110 cm. It possesses excellent resistance to lodging, low temperatures, and diseases. The thousand kernel weight is 47–49 g with a bulk density of 75–79 kg/hl. The protein content in the grain ranges from 12 to 14%, and wet gluten from 21 to 26%.
The recommended sowing density is 500 germinating seeds per 1 m²; optimal sowing dates fall between October 10 and 25. The variety is capable of showing stable yield even in less favorable conditions.
The grain of the variety is versatile in its application: it is used for green mass, silage, and grain, as well as raw material for bioethanol. In baking, it is used in mixtures with wheat, and due to high amylase activity, it is suitable for use in brewing as a partial substitute for barley malt.
