The variety is mid-season and is characterized by high winter hardiness, which allows it to be recommended for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia zones. The plant is characterized by tolerance to Fusarium pathogens and a low level of infection with other diseases.

The thousand kernel weight is 45–50 g, and the protein content in the grain varies from 12 to 15%. Baking qualities are rated as good when using baking technologies adapted for rye.
