The winter triticale variety Presto was bred by crossing the varieties Dagro and Lasko. The plant is characterized by very early ear development and maturity, medium to above-average height, and good lodging resistance.
The variety is distinguished by very high winter hardiness, as well as stable resistance to leaf rust and yellow rust. The grain has high test weight and protein content values.
Due to its reliability and adaptability, the variety has found use in organic farming and on extensive plots.
