Variety description

10 August 2026

The wheat variety Azurite was bred by KWS UK Ltd. In agronomic references and recommended lists, it is mentioned more often as a parent line for breeding new varieties than as an independent crop for widespread cultivation.

Specialized data on disease resistance levels, plant height, and grain quality indicators for this variety are practically absent in open sources. Current commercial use of the variety is limited due to its early registration.

There is a possibility of confusion with the hybrid winter wheat variety RGT Azurite, which is a separate product with different disease resistance characteristics.
