The variety was obtained through hybridization (Hybride de Bersée / Nord Desprez // Blé de Domes / Yga). The plant has a moderate stem height and belongs to the mid-late maturity group. Lodging resistance is evaluated as weak to moderate.
Domino wheat demonstrates resistance to powdery mildew and moderate resistance to stripe rust. At the same time, the variety is susceptible to Septoria, leaf rust, barley yellow dwarf virus, and is moderately susceptible to Fusarium head blight.
The grain of this variety has a high protein content. When grown, there is a moderately high risk of pre-harvest sprouting.
