The variety is a spring soft wheat obtained as a result of complex crossing, including lines SW-79452, CI-12632, Prins and Drabant. In genetic studies, the variety was considered in the context of studying adaptability to northern conditions and yield potential.
The plant possesses pronounced resistance to powdery mildew and brown rust both at the seedling stage and in adult plants. The variety contains specific resistance genes to powdery mildew, in particular Pm3d and Pm5.
