The variety was created based on the combination Icebreaker / Solo // Cougar and is used as a genetic component for breeding new wheat varieties. Morphologically characterized by a white-colored ear of medium length and density with a parallel profile and the presence of awn-like appendages in the upper quarter.
In the UK, the variety is traditionally classified as feed-grade or suitable for confectionery production, in particular for biscuit making. It is suitable for cultivation on light soils, although data on resistance to diseases and lodging require verification in regional registers.
