In European sources, the variety Liskamm is classified as soft wheat (Triticum aestivum), cultivated as a spring or alternative crop. The variety is medium-early, distinguished by medium plant height and awnless heads. Resistance to lodging is rated as very good; the variety also possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, yellow rust, brown rust, Fusarium head blight, and Helminthosporium leaf blight.
The produce of this variety is distinguished by high protein content, good test weight, and high milling qualities, which allows it to be used as a bread-making improver variety. In addition to food use, the possibility of using the crop as forage due to the quality of the green mass is noted. In publications concerning demonstration plots in Kazakhstan, the variety Liskamm is mentioned in the context of durum wheat.
