The variety is tall and has medium to low lodging resistance. The plant is suitable for cultivation on soils of medium and high fertility and is adapted to both arid conditions and regions with excess precipitation.
The plant shows high resistance to brown rust, medium resistance to powdery mildew, Septoria, and Fusarium head blight, but is characterized by low resistance to yellow rust. It is classified as a food-grade variety requiring nitrogen fertilizer application in late growth stages for high grain quality.
In addition to its use as a food grain, in a number of regions, the variety is used for the production of whole-crop silage.
