The variety was developed by INRA breeders in Versailles. In genetic databases and scientific literature, it is mentioned as one of the pedigree components for later wheat varieties, and its origin can be traced in crossing schemes including such forms as V 81-12 and VPM.
Detailed characteristics of plant height, maturity group, or disease resistance indices are absent. The variety does not appear in modern lists as currently cultivated and is of interest primarily as genetic material for the history of breeding.
