The breeding line SEW 17-3006 SW was developed at the Saatzucht LFS Edelhof breeding center. The designation is the registration number of the line, not a commercial variety name.
In 2019–2020, the line participated in official value for cultivation and use (VCU) trials in the Czech Republic. Public technical reports contain information on the fact of participation in the trials, but do not provide detailed data on plant characteristics or grain quality.
