Variety description

10 August 2026

The Siala variety is a product of Swiss breeding and is considered a sister line of the CH Claro variety. The plant is included in official lists of recommended varieties and is often mentioned in variety trial materials, yield forecasting models, and comparative studies of cultivation conditions.

As part of scientific work, research on the baking properties of the wheat was conducted with this variety, in particular, the wet gluten content in the grain was analyzed. Detailed morphological descriptions, including data on plant height or a specific maturity group, are absent in open sources.
