A variety of Bulgarian origin, samples of which are included in genetic resource collections. The name of the variety is associated with the village of Stozher in the Dobrich region, where research and breeding work with grain crops are carried out.
In scientific literature, the variety is mentioned as an initial form in the development of waxy winter wheat lines with specific flour rheological characteristics. The variety also serves as an object of comparison in the study of spike morphology and winter hardiness under Bulgarian conditions.
