The variety is used in breeding programs to improve frost resistance and agronomic qualities of new hybrids. It is mentioned in scientific studies related to durum wheat breeding in the Russian Federation and other regions.

The variety is characterized by high productivity; during trials, yield reached 9.65–10.0 t/ha. The grain of the variety is evaluated as a promising raw material for the pasta industry.
