The origin of the variety is associated with the lines Valdur, Pandur, and Valgerardo. In agricultural practice, the variety was used in Austria as a standard and was also actively used as an object for molecular genetic research.

Thousand kernel weight is 56 g. The variety is characterized by high susceptibility to Fusarium head blight and vulnerability to eyespot infection of the stems. Grain quality indicators are determined by the features of the composition of starch proteins associated with Waxy genes.
