The plant belongs to short-stature dwarf forms, which is due to the presence of the Rht-B1 dwarfing gene. The growing season of the variety is estimated as very short, although in a number of publications it is characterized as medium-early.
The grain of the variety is distinguished by its large size and high test weight values. The variety shows resistance to a number of diseases, due to which it is used as a control sample in research, and possesses cold tolerance.
In scientific literature, Atoudur is used as a model object for genetic research, including the study of height genes and cadmium accumulation, based on the level of which the variety is classified as a high accumulator.
