The variety was obtained by traditional breeding (pedigree Kofa/Sveva). The plant is distinguished by an awned ear and high resistance to drought, as well as to major diseases, including powdery mildew. Due to the high stem height, it is recommended to avoid excessive density during sowing to prevent lodging.
Technological grain qualities include exceptional gluten quality and an increased content of yellow pigments. The variety is intended for cultivation in the conditions of the central and southern regions of Italy, ensuring a consistently low percentage of mealy grains in the harvest.
