The variety belongs to the winter durum wheat (Winterdurum) form. The plants are characterized by a short or medium height, a medium level of lodging resistance, and a high number of grains per spike with a low or medium thousand kernel weight.

The variety is distinguished by a high protein content. Disease resistance includes low susceptibility to powdery mildew, low to medium susceptibility to leaf spot and yellow rust, and medium susceptibility to Fusarium head blight.
