The variety belongs to the winter form of durum wheat. It is characterized by a high yield, reaching 11 t/ha, and is an important raw material for the pasta industry, in particular for the production of semolina.

The grain of the variety is distinguished by a high protein content at the level of about 13.8%. Falling number values for this variety are in the range of 381–389 seconds. The variety is being actively studied in the conditions of Central Europe within the framework of programs for the study of intensive and organic cultivation methods.
