The variety was created at the Institute of Cotton and Durum Wheat in the city of Chirpan by crossing mutant lines M-224 and M-155. The plant reaches a height of 80–88 cm, possesses a large ear and very good stem resistance to lodging.

The maximum productivity of the variety reaches 8000 kg/ha. Studies confirm high stability of yield and protein content under various conditions. The variety also shows resistance to certain types of herbicides.

The grain is characterized by a high content of protein (17–19%), wet gluten (40–42%), and high vitreousness (95–98%). The variety is intended for the production of pasta and is used in scientific research as genetic material for breeding.
