The variety was obtained by crossing Platani and Colosseo lines. The plant has light-brown awns. The average thousand kernel weight is about 59.6 mg. The protein content in the grain reaches 13.9%, gluten is 10.5%, the yellowness index is 22.5.

The variety shows moderate resistance to white-grain and is slightly susceptible to grain shriveling. Studies have confirmed resistance to leaf rust Puccinia triticina. In scientific literature, the variety is used as an object for genetic research and the study of the diversity of Italian wheat breeding.
