The variety belongs to the mid-early maturity group. It is adapted to the climatic conditions of the Mediterranean basin and is resistant to drought and high temperatures, including during the heading stage. Currently, the variety is included in the list of conservation varieties as a traditional crop subject to preservation.

The grain of the variety is classified as having good quality (Class B). Semolina obtained from this variety is used in the food industry, including the production of experimental blends with common wheat flour for baking. Technological indices are characterized by a specific allelic composition of protein subunits and an increased ash content.
