The variety is of interest for creating genotypes with improved nutritional properties, in particular, due to the high level of protein and glutathione. For scientific purposes, the variety is used in studying the pathogenicity of the fungal species Fusarium verticillioides, Fusarium proliferatum, and Fusarium subglutinans.

Agronomic data are limited to yield trial results under specific fertilization schemes and results of artificial grain inoculation to assess fumonisin accumulation. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant, such as height or maturity group, are not presented in open sources.
