Variety description

The variety belongs to the hordeiforme botanical variety. The plant forms an erect bush, possesses a strong thick straw, and green leaves with a waxy bloom and medium pubescence. The spike is red, of medium length and density, with serrated awns 11–13 cm long. The glume has an elongated-oval shape with a distinct keel; the caryopsis is white.

The grain-direction variety demonstrates high adaptive capacity. The yield potential when grown under irrigation is 8.5–10.5 t/ha, and in non-irrigated farming conditions — 6.0–7.5 t/ha.
