The variety belongs to the medium or medium-late maturity group. Plants form large-sized ears. Breeding material obtained from the international center CIMMYT was used in the creation of the variety.

The variety possesses resistance to new races of leaf rust (Puccinia triticina) and tolerance to Septoria (Septoria). The genetic basis of resistance to rust was not characterized at the time of the research.

The grain is characterized by high specific weight, very high vitreousness, and a very high gluten index. The variety is intended for use in the pasta industry.
