The variety is a short-stemmed plant with very high resistance to lodging. It possesses good resistance to leaf rust and yellow rust.

The quality of the produce is characterized by high protein content, a good gluten index, and a high falling number. The thousand kernel weight is high; the grain is intended for the production of pasta and semolina.

The recommended sowing dates are February–March; the optimal sowing density is 420–450 seeds per square meter.
