The variety was bred in 1976 and was used both in breeding programs and in commercial cultivation. Morphologically, it is characterized by a medium degree of pubescence of the last stem node.

During agronomic studies, a high sensitivity of the variety to the herbicide isoproturon was identified, which leads to the inhibition of root growth and a decrease in photosynthesis and yield indicators. The variety is often used in scientific studies for the comparative assessment of genetic progress in yield and grain quality throughout the 20th century.
