The variety is intended for traditional use in the food industry — the production of semolina and pasta. During agronomic trials conducted in Spain in the late 2000s and early 2010s, the variety demonstrated yields comparable to other commercial varieties of that time.

Plant height varied in the range of 75–95 cm depending on growing conditions. The thousand kernel weight was about 75 grams. The scientific literature contains references to the variety in the context of research on leaf rust resistance.
