The winter durum wheat variety Istrodur (IS Istrodur) is a short-stature plant. It is distinguished by average resistance to lodging, and also possesses an average degree of resistance to leaf diseases.

This variety is used in breeding practice as a parent form for the development of other durum wheat varieties. The grain is intended for processing into semolina and the production of pasta.
