The variety belongs to winter forms of durum wheat. The grain is characterized by high vitreousness, protein content, and gluten quality, which determines its use in the production of pasta and semolina.

Morphologically, the variety was distinguished by the large size of the caryopses and high thousand kernel weight. Studies revealed high susceptibility of the variety to Fusarium head blight and mycotoxin accumulation, as well as the dependence of lodging parameters on agrotechnical factors.
