The variety has a semi-dwarf plant type with a height of 85–90 cm. The growing season lasts from 78 to 94 days. The origin of the variety is based on combinations of lines Federico II, Brigante, GSD101 (according to other sources GSD123 х Torrebianca).

The crop possesses high resistance to loose smut, leaf rust, and yellow rust, as well as moderate resistance to common bunt. Susceptibility to powdery mildew and Septoria is weak or below average.

The grain is distinguished by a high protein content of 13 to 15.2% and high vitreousness in the range of 78.5–97.1%. The gluten index is 83–98, the yellowness index is 22–28. The variety is used for the production of pasta and semolina, as well as an improver in milling blends.
