The variety is used in international UPOV guidelines as a reference for describing the morphological characteristics of the ear. The ear of the plant has a slightly colored surface; the lower glume is characterized by an ovoid shape.

The grain of the variety is distinguished by a high content of protein (more than 18.5%) and gluten (from 47%). Due to these indicators, the variety is intended for use in the food industry, in particular for the production of high-quality semolina for pasta.
