The variety is a winter type and is characterized by exceptional grain quality suitable for pasta production. In scientific studies, it often serves as a standard for protein composition, specifically LMW-2 type gliadins and glutenins.

A distinctive biological feature of the variety is its resistance to Wheat spindle streak mosaic virus (WSSMV). Due to this trait, the variety is used as valuable genetic material for breeding programs.
