The variety has a complex pedigree, including Capeiti, Valnova, Patricio, and Valforte forms. In scientific literature, it is used as an object for studying genetic diversity and grain characteristics.

The plant is characterized by high protein content in the grain and may have an increased level of immunogenic gluten peptides. In a number of studies, the variety demonstrated high resistance to leaf and stem rust, corresponding to a type 0 reaction.
