The variety is short-stemmed and characterized by early ripening. It demonstrates high resistance to soil-borne wheat mosaic virus, however, in a number of studies, its susceptibility to Septoria was noted.

Tremie wheat is used in the feed industry, particularly in poultry farming, due to grain characteristics such as low aqueous extract viscosity. The variety is adapted to conditions in France but shows low performance when grown in the UK.
