The variety is a decorative bulbous plant 45–50 cm in height with a straight stem and lanceolate dark green leaves. The flowers are purple or deep pink in color, and the petals are distinguished by a pointed shape characteristic of lily-flowered tulips.

Flowering occurs in April-May; the variety is classified as late-flowering. The plant is used for cut flowers, landscaping of flower beds and borders, and cultivation in balcony containers. There is no specific data on the variety's resistance to diseases or lodging.
