Tulip Bourbon Street belongs to the Triumph group. Plant height is from 45 to 55 cm. The buds have a goblet shape and red-orange petal coloration with copper, bronze shades and a yellow center.

The variety possesses a light honey aroma and is capable of maintaining freshness when cut for up to two weeks. The plant is characterized as undemanding, however, it has weak resistance to the tulip breaking virus.

The variety is intended for cultivation in the open field and for professional forcing, including in water. Upon cooling at 9 °C for 16 weeks, the start of greenhouse forcing is possible from December 20.
