The variety is classified as a double late tulip. The color of the inner perianth segments varies from a light greenish-yellow shade to a bright yellow along the central veins. The outer segments are pale yellow with bright yellow central veins.

This variety was obtained by crossing seedlings PG 95-57 and RH 95-01. It is intended for use in ornamental gardening and commercial floriculture.
