The variety belongs to the group of fringed tulips, although some descriptions mention a double, abundantly filled flower form. The petal color varies from cherry-red to pink, orange, and apricot shades, complemented by an expressive white fringe.

The plant reaches a height of 40–45 cm. The variety is diploid (2n = 24) and is characterized as a stately plant suitable for landscaping, group plantings, and cut flowers. Flowering occurs during the period from April to May.
