The variety belongs to the group of late double tulips. The flowers have a peony-like structure; their color is rich, dark purple, sometimes with a greenish undertone at the base of the petals. The flower diameter varies from 4 to 12 cm with a bud height of up to 10 cm.

The plant height is from 40 to 50 cm; the stems are characterized as strong. The variety is late-blooming and suitable for cutting, spring forcing, and use in landscape design. The bulbs possess high frost resistance, corresponding to climate zone 3.
