Prinses Irene Parkiet
ActiveTulipa L. · Tulip
H. MANTEL EN ZN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the double early tulip group and blooms in early terms. Plant height is 35–45 cm. The buds are double, lush, visually resembling peonies, and have a rich yellow color with possible red streaks and greenish shades on the outer petals. Flower diameter reaches 5–6 cm.
The plant has strong peduncles, however, heavy buds may lean to the ground during heavy precipitation. The variety is considered universal: suitable for landscaping, creating arrangements, and for forcing in various substrates. When forcing, pre-cooling of the bulbs at a temperature of +9°C and ensuring good soil drainage is recommended.
