The Dalian tulip variety belongs to the fringed tulip class. Its characteristic feature is the presence of a pronounced needle-like fringe along the edges of the bright red petals.

The peduncle height is from 40 to 50 cm, and the flowering period occurs in April–May. The variety is intended for creating mass plantings, landscaping borders, and use as cut flowers.
