The variety belongs to the Darwin hybrid group and flowers in April–May. The plant forms strong stems 60 to 80 cm tall. Flowers are large, goblet-shaped, 6–8 cm in height and up to 10–12 cm in diameter when fully open. The petal color is bright orange, sometimes with golden veins or a lighter base; a light fragrance is present.

The variety is winter hardy, withstands USDA zone 3a conditions, and is notable for being undemanding. The flowers maintain their shape well when cut, retaining their decorative quality for 10–12 days, which makes them suitable for commercial cut flower production and winter forcing. The plants are versatile in use, suitable for landscaping flower beds, mixed borders, and group plantings.
