The variety belongs to the Greigii group. The plant is low-growing, with large, solitary, cup-shaped flowers. The petals are colored in bright yellow and orange-red tones, often complemented by brown streaks and speckles. The leaves are medium-green, pointed, and have the purple mottling characteristic of the group.
