The variety belongs to the group of early double tulips. The plant reaches a height of 40–50 cm. The buds are double, having a voluminous cup-shaped form and a diameter of 6–8 cm when fully open. The petals have a velvety texture and a wavy-concave shape.

Flowering is early, occurring in May. Due to the heavy buds, the variety can be prone to lodging during heavy rains and requires areas with good drainage. The variety is suitable for universal use in the garden, as well as for forcing, including at a temperature regime of +9 °C.
