The variety is a double-flowered form or mutation of the Annaconda tulip, inheriting its deep pink hue and long vase life. The plant has a heavy, robust habit and a dense, double-flowered bud.

The variety is early-flowering and suitable for use in forcing, including at a temperature regime of 9 °C.
