According to the KAVB register, the variety 'Double Beauty' belongs to the double late tulip group. Its height reaches 40 cm, the flower color is purple-red (58D) with light pink (49D) speckles.

The name "Double Beauty" is often used to refer to the variety "Double Beauty of Apeldoorn". This is a double late peony-flowered tulip with large flowers 15–20 cm in diameter, having a yellow or golden-yellow color with orange and red streaks. The stem height is 40–60 cm, and flowering occurs in May.
