Variety description

The variety is classified either as a double group or as double early tulips. The height of the plant varies from 20–25 to 45 cm. The flower has a cup-shaped double form resembling a peony. The main color of the petals is purple or burgundy with a white margin; color variability is possible.

In different sources, the variety is characterized either as early-flowering (March-April) or late-flowering (May). The plant is suitable for forcing in water, soil, or sawdust, as well as for cultivation in flower beds, pots, and containers. Specific data on resistance to diseases and lodging are absent.
